Hsin Chong received a new contact from the Water Supplies Department for the replacement and rehabilitation of the water mains. The contract is under Stage 4 Phase 1 of the project and includes the water mains in Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, the North District and Tai Po.

Since the water mains in Hong Kong are gradually outdated, the Water Supplies Department decided to replace and rehabilitate the ageing pipes to avoid water leakage or bursting. Hsin Chong is responsible for the replacement of the water mains and the associated service connections as well as the design and implementation of a temporary traffic management scheme.
