Hsin Chong is committed to developing young talents in the market and grooming them to become the future leaders in the industry. We have developed a 3-year career development program for graduate engineers and graduate trainees. We work hand in hand with a number of educational institutions to develop and provide internship program for young talents. Senior management is committed to taking up the role of mentorship and is ready to provide guidance and advice on career aspirations and roadmaps with young talents.
In 2010, Hsin Chong opened the Graduate Trainees Club (GT Club) for its graduate trainees in engineering and surveying capacities to give them a greater range of learning and career development opportunities. The GT Club was created as a platform for the graduate trainees to share their achievements, and difficulties at work with one another. They are all connected through the Hsin Chong Facebook.
The GT Club already has over 70 members, and its Committee consists of management staff from various different departments. As mentors, senior professionals impart their job knowledge and share personal experiences with the trainees to enrich their understanding and analytical thinking on the job. The GT Club Committee also organizes corss-department events and encourage trainees to participate in voluntary works. Learning from and communicating with each other allows them to gain a better understanding of the industry and pick up valuable cross-disciplinary job knowledge. Social gatherings and networking events help trainees imbibe the company culture and feel a sense of belonging.
