Mr. Stanley Seung Chi Lo (“Mr. Lo”) joined the Group in June 2016 as Managing Director responsible for international infrastructure business of the Group.
Mr. Lo is a Chartered Construction Manager and a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. He has more than 36 years of experience focusing on project management, contract administration, commercial management, construction law and resolution of construction disputes in construction. Mr. Lo has worked for notable employers, consultants and contractors in multi-dimensional building, infrastructure and railway projects in Hong Kong, Macau, China, Middle East and Australia.
In addition, Mr. Lo is experienced in New Engineering Contract. Whilst working for Paul Y. Construction Co. Ltd as Director, General Manager and Group Legal Counsel, Mr. Lo was granted the NEC Large Project of the Year 2016 award for which he gave an experience sharing speech and a presentation on the winning project, Kennedy Town Swimming Pool Phase 2, at the headquarters of the Institution of Civil Engineers in London, England.
Whilst working for Kowloon Canton Railway Corporation as Claims Manager, Mr. Lo was responsible for the successful settlement of contractual disputes and final accounts for several major contracts in the Ma On Shan Rail and the West Rail.
Academically, following completion of a Higher Diploma in Building Technology and Management at the Hong Kong Polytechnic, Mr. Lo received his Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Master of Laws degrees from the University of Wolverhampton (England). He also received from the University of Reading (England) a Master Degree in Business Administration in Construction and Real Estate. Mr. Lo also successfully completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the City University of Hong Kong. Professionally, in addition to being a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Surveyors (FHKIS), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB), a Registered Professional Surveyor (RPS) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb),. In addition, Mr. Lo is the past chairman of the Construction Mediation Interest Group of the Hong Kong Mediation Council (a division of Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre).
