Ir Joseph CHOI Kin Hung (“Ir Choi”) is an Executive Director and the Co-Chief Executive Officer of the Company. He is a member of each of the Executive Committee, the Nomination Committee and the Remuneration Committee. He is also a director of certain subsidiaries of the Company.
Ir Choi is also an Executive Director and the Chairman of Synergis Holdings Limited (“Synergis”). Synergis is a non-wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, whose shares are listed on the main board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the “Stock Exchange”). He is also a director of certain subsidiaries of Synergis.
Ir Choi is a fellow and the President of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (“HKIE”). He is an ex-officio member of the Administration Board of HKIE for Session 2016/2017, the vice chairman of Council of China’s Foreign Trade of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and a fellow and a council member of the Hong Kong Institution of Highways and Transportation. He is also a member of the Infrastructure Development Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council since 1 April 2016.
Ir Choi is a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers of the UK, a chartered engineer of the UK, a registered professional engineer of Hong Kong, a director of Engineering Forum Limited, and a member of the Departmental Advisory Committee for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Ir Choi joined the Group in August 2009 as Assistant Managing Director and has been subsequently promoted to his current positions. He has over 45 years of multi-dimensional and multi-functional experience in construction industry across contracting and client organisations in Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, Macau and overseas. Before joining the Group, he was the general manager of the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation and MTR Corporation Limited, responsible for the design and construction of various new railway lines.
Ir Choi graduated from the University of Aston in Birmingham, United Kingdom with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
Mr. ZHOU Wei (“Mr. Zhou”) is an Executive Director and the Chief Strategic Officer of the Company. He is also a member of the Executive Committee and a director of a number of subsidiaries of the Company.
Mr. Zhou obtained a degree from the School of Public Finance of Liaoning Institute of Finance & Economics (currently known as “Dongbei University of Finance & Economics”) in 1978.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Zhou served as a Senior Accountant in the Government Offices Administration of the State Council（國務院機關事務管理局）. Mr. Zhou previously occupied senior management positions in various private companies and was responsible for overseeing financial and overall management of those companies.
Mr. Zhou possesses extensive experience in finance and corporate management in Hong Kong and China with prominent business relationships.
He was one of the vendors in the sale of the New Times Plaza to the Company as disclosed in the circular of the Company of 30 May 2013.
Mr. Wilfred WU Shek Chun (“Mr. Wu”) is an Executive Director and the Chief Risk Officer of the Company. He is also a member of the Executive Committee and a director of a number of subsidiaries of the Company. Mr. Wu joined the Group in July 2014 as the Associate Director of Corporate Finance, and has been promoted to his current position in June 2015, responsible for all merger and acquisition projects from due diligence, negotiation of purchase agreement, handling regulatory approvals and financial sourcing to the smooth operation after merger or acquisition of the projects.
Mr. Wu has more than 20 years of experience in financial reporting, investment proposal appraisal, financial due diligence, insolvency, litigation support and forensic accounting with major corporations and consultancy firms.
Mr. Wu was conferred a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Arts in Comparative and Public History from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master of Business Administration from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is a fellow member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Wu also serves as a council member of the Construction Industry Council and an appeal board panel member of the Urban Renewal Authority.
Ir. Paul LEE Kai Hung (“Mr. LEE”) is the Managing Director of Hsin Chong Construction Company Limited (“HCC”) and the Managing Director of HCCG Building and Civil Engineering (Macau) Limited. He is also a director of Hsin Chong Construction (Asia) Limited and certain subsidiaries of the Company. Ir. LEE was appointed as the Deputy Managing Director of HCC in July 2015 and was promoted to his current positions in HCC in October 2015.
Ir. LEE is responsible for the management of the Building Division as well as Hengqin and other overseas businesses, besides overseeing Hong Kong Civil Division; Macau Civil and Building Construction Business; Group Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Department and Plant Department. He joined the Group in 2010 and has more than 35 years of experience in civil engineering and building construction.
Ir. LEE is a registered professional engineer. He is also a fellow of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. Prior to joining the Group, he was a senior executive with a leading Hong Kong contractor.
Ms. Victoria TAM Yin Ping (“Ms. TAM”) is the Group Human Resources Director of the Group overseeing all human resources and development matters in Hong Kong, Macau, Chinese Mainland and overseas. Apart from playing the strategic partner role in human resources and development matters, she is also responsible for monitoring the provision of Office Administration Services to the Group. Before joining the Group in 2012, Ms. TAM has over 25 years of solid human resources management and administration experience gained from the construction and property development industries. Apart from a wealth of human resources strategic management experience, Ms. TAM is also strong in system management and documentation control accumulated from years of quality system management role.
